Congratulations! Your PMP application is complete. The next step in the process is to submit payment for the credential examination.

Before you can schedule your examination, you must first pay the fee. To submit payment, please log in at https://www.pmi.org/certapp. PMI encourages all candidates to make payment through the online certification system. However, you may elect to submit your payment through postal mail. If you opt to send payment through postal mail, please include your PMI identification number and/or your user name and mail to:

Once you make payment, you will receive a PMI Identification Code, which you will need in order to schedule your examination. You have one year from the date your application was approved to take examination. Your application was approved on 13 May 2010.

Please note that PMI randomly selects a number of applications to participate in the audit process, as detailed in the credential handbook. Once payment is made, you will be notified whether your application has been selected. If selected, you will be advised of the process and provided with an appropriate link for more in-depth instructions. For credential candidates going through the audit process, the examination eligibility period will be reset to one year following the successful completion of the audit.

Computer-based Examinees:
If you are taking a computer-based examination, please schedule your examination by following the Credential Exam Scheduling Instructions. Due to high test volume, it is recommended that you schedule to test at least six weeks before the intended date of testing.

Paper-based Examinees:
If you are taking a paper-based examination, you have already been successfully scheduled. Please await your confirmation that will be sent by e-mail from PMI 20-25 days before the event. This confirmation will contain site instructions. Please read the Credential Exam Scheduling Instructions for information about how to cancel a scheduled paper-based examination and other very important information.

* Review the latest edition of A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide)
* Enroll in a formal study course offered by PMI chapters or Registered Education Providers (R.E.P.s)
* Form a study group with colleagues or friends. (You can meet in person or virtually.)

To obtain a receipt of your payment, log in to the online certification system at [NO MATCH] and click on “My Info” on the left navigation bar, then click on “View Orders” and print your receipt.
